“Finally, a shepherd's pie with lamb! Why would a shepherd have beef? If it's made with beef, it's a COTTAGE pie. This is a fabulous version. I used finely minced leftover roast lamb. The original reason to shepherd's pie was to use up the leftovers from Sunday dinner. And if you have leftover mashed potatoes, you can use them too.”
