Reviewed Good Eats Meatloaf

"I never knew meatloaf could be fabulous until I met this recipe. This one is fiercely, intensely delicious. Don't skimp on the spices or cut back anything. If anything I lessened the meat (being not a big fan of meat ironically) and the flavors were even stronger. It's a testmament to a solid recipe that it survived all my hackneyed alterations yet still came out a total success. Instead of croutons I substituted bread soaked in milk (which made it moist and a little creamy). Instead of the carrot and bell pepper I used a roma tomato and shredded cabbage. Even that worked, which leads me to believe you can substitute any two vegetables of your choice. Even my picky partner raved about this meatloaf. Thank you, Alton.
