Reviewed Homemade Ricotta
"Since I am allergic to cow's milk, I can't make this recipe exactly as laid out. But I found, if I use Whole Goat's Milk for the full 6 cups (Or 4 cups whole and 2 cups skim) and follow the recipe the rest of the way it comes out perfect. I just made a batch for a vegetable lasagna tomorrow. It's awesome on a white pizza too."
About Me
I have lots of food allergies and am forever looking for new ways to cook things I can eat. Plus I love to convert much loved recipes with ingredients I can eat safely. Like using gluten free and cow's milk free items in my recipes. Whole Foods has been a great source for Goat, Sheep and even Bison Milk cheeses. But where can I find a heavy cream from one of those milks?
