Surely the amount of oil called for must be a typo! I have't made a cake from scratch in a long time. In spite of thinking that 1 1/2 cups of oil sounded like too much, I followed the recipe. The cake fell in the middle. The outside that didn't fall was extremely heavy and greasy. This cake sure sounded good. Next time, I think I will adapt "
