"The other person reviewing this recipe for Paula Deen's Cherry Crisp said it lacked flavor. After reading the recipe I think I would add 1 /2 tsp of Pure Almond Extract to kick it up a notch. Cherries and almonds are related. Give it another try, I think the Extract may be what you're looking for. Oh, the Almond Extract should go in the cherry mixture not the crisp.
