Very bland. I would provide recommendations to add flavor, but your best bet is simply finding a new recipe with more components.

Great recipe, definitely a hit last year at Thanksgiving. Based on previous reviews, I decided to fry the onions instead. Pioneer Woman has a technique - thinly slice onions, submerge in buttermilk, dredge in flour (with S&P), then add to canola oil. It's actually quite quick and I did it in the morning to get the mess out of the way and they...

Absolutely delicious! Used quick cook rice noodles just to make it quicker. Was simple, healthy, and delicious. Can't wait to use this as a base for other stir-fry mixtures."

Really good! Used non-fat yogurt (couldn't find low-fat), but still came out so light and yummy! Not a fan of very strong blue cheese dressing, so this was perfect.""

Used Crisco and worked perfectly. For someone who does no baking, was quite easy to work the dough, but I did end up making them a bit too thick. Total recipe made 4 vs. 8, so make sure you roll out really thin, as they expand when they hit the heat.""

Perfect recipe for tartare. I have made multiple times and always comes out delicious (careful if you happen to get a hot jalapeno, this happened one time and it was a bit too spicy. Great the next day as well.""

Absolutely delicious - as authentic as any Mexican restaurant, and slightly healthier. Will definitely not be using can refried beans again. ""

Easy and awesome. Per the other reviewers regarding the cinnamon, I decreased the amount to 1 tsp (down from 2). I think you would miss the nice sweet/spicy kick that makes this recipe a keeper if you omit it completely. Guacamole with roasted poblanos - amazing, will be making from now on! "

First time making lasagna and it was amazing! I used Giada's marinara recipe (really good and I had some left over). I really did not want it to fall apart, so I followed the tip to bake ahead and then reheat. Did this a few hours before dinner time and it worked out perfectly! I do recommend layering in more marinara or pouring a little on top...

Reviewed Joe's Screaming Stuffed Jalapeno Poppers

Too spicy. Tried grilling longer and still could barely make edible. Followed recipe exactly, so might have just been the particular batch of jalapenos. Have made Guy's stuffed jalapenos that are baked with no problems. Will not give these a shot again.

Reviewed Italian Stuffed Jalapenos

Oct 4, 2010 in Food Network Community Toolbox on Food Network

Excellent filling, can easily apply to mushrooms, spread over canapés or added to eggs for a breakfast treat. Substituted sweet, italian turkey sausage and flavor still turned out tasty following the rest of the recipe. Jalapenos have a small bite at the end, but overall not a spicy dish that you might expect, easily can be enjoyed by large crowds....
