Reviewed Real Meatballs and Spaghetti

I only made the meatballs to go with my own sauce. They were pretty good lacked a little punch or something. They didn't quite have a meaty bite -- they were more "fluffy" than I like in a meatball. If I'm going to fry a meatball, and take in that kind of fat and calories, I want it to be worth it. These weren't quite there.

This was a homerun. My husband was born and raised in Italy and he said the sauce tasted like it was made by one of his Zia's or his Nonna. That's the highest praise there is in this household. =) I have tried at least three or four l'amtriciana recipes - all good dishes but none that had that rich smokey flavor that the dishes had when we were...

I thought is was definitely a good tasting meal but it didn't really have that sort of smoky flavor I had in all the amatricianas I had in Italy.
