“Delish and fool proof. I made two changes. I toasted the walnuts in the oven before adding to batter....like the taste of the toasted walnuts better. I used a 1/4 tsp. of allspice instead of the fresh nutmeg.
I made for a welcoming gift for new neighbors who just moved in. I hope I don't eat them all before I get them over to neighbors....”
