My Activity

Reviewed Spanish Style Chicken and Dumplings

"Easy to make and so delicious! I left out the onion because my family is not a fan but didn't change anything else and it was so amazing. "

Reviewed Chorizo Sliders

"It was something different to try and it was good enough that I would make it again but it was not great. I did not try the sauce though; I'm not an avocado fan. :) "

Reviewed Phyllo Wrapped Asparagus

"I was super excited to try this recipe after watching her make it on tv. I just love Paula but I was disappointed this time. I did not think it was worth the trouble of wrapping it in the very fragile phyllo dough. My husband and daughter ended up just peeling the dough off the asparagus to eat them anyways. I will NOT be making this again. "

Reviewed Tacozagna and Banana Cheesecakes

"My son actually gags and gets sick when I try to force him to eat veggies. He happily ate this dish up and had NO IDEA he was eating a couple of veggies. I watched him take each bite just thrilling inside. This recipe will be a keeper for my family for sure. "

About Me

I am a 28 yr old wife and mother. My 7 yr old daughter has autism and she loves all food. My 9 yr old son has tourette's syndrome and he hates anything even slightly healthy, plus anything remotely spicy. He is a very picky eater. I am actually a little bit picky also. My husband hates anything sweet.

Paula Deen is my all time favorite chef to watch but I am more likely to try cooking one of Rachael Ray's meals because of how quickly and easy they usually are prepared.

Favorite Foods

I like serving one dish meals.

I have recently found a LOVE for Indian and Thai food.

My son says the best thing I make is mashed taters with the skin left on and my dumplings. The dumplings is a barely revised version of my mothers, I think I use more butter (Paula would be proud) and bigger dumplings.

My daughter agrees with the dumplings as her favorite but also likes when I make pepperoni pizza.

My favorite would be mashed taters, dumplings, sweet tater casserole, chicken enchiladas, and I could probably go on and on... I love food.

My husband likes meat, so his favorites are probably the ribs, pork chops, meat loaf, and other similar dishes.
