Reviewed Pot sticker: Ginger pork

"@ rebeccalackie: To avoid using eggs, try the egg substitue that is sold in the grocery store in the dairy aisle. You can even just use water - just the wrapper getting moist makes it sticky which is the purpose of the egg so the seams seal together.

Reviewed Pot sticker: Ginger pork

"This was a surprisingly easy recipe! I've never made homemade pot stickers before. It was not hard at all, just a little tedious at best with assembling the dumplings. I had tried this recipe a while ago and my family loved it! It was so flavorful and the pot stickers were perfectly cooked. Last night, I decided to try a recipe in a book I received for Christmas (Bobby Flay's Throwdown, based on the show). It wasn't his recipe - it was the winner's. And no disrespect to her recipe, but by far Guy's recipe was much better. The texture and flavor of the pork and the fact that Guy's recipe par-boils the dumplings first made the finished product worlds better. If you're thinking about trying to make pot stickers as an amateur...this is a winning recipe! Bravo again Guy!
