Made mine exactly as stated in recipe. Was mushy and hardly any taste. Too much work. I will go back to the way I made them before. They were always good. Just thought I'd try something that might be better. It wasn't. A real disappointment."

Reviewed Mocha Brownies

Did not make the bownies but I did make the frosting. It was nothing special. Made it exaclty as written by Ree. However, I feel that it was too much butter and powdered sugar for one pan of brownies or for one small cake, in my case. The coffee added nothing to the taste but did make the frosting too loose. I think that I will decrease the butter"
