“Love this recipe! Along with Ina's Perfect Roast Chicken, it gets added to my permanent recipe file. I would double the onions next time. And make sure they stick together when you are tossing them in the oil and melted butter. Mine separated into rings and then cooked too fast.

“Delicious! But runny. And, to those who said "let it sit". It sat on the table while we ate and there was still liquid at the end of the meal! But the flavors are wonderful. I served it to a large family group and everyone raved and nobody cared that it was so runny. My MIL asked for the recipe. I'll make it again, but maybe in the more tradition...”

“Easy, quick recipe and very tasty. I used fresh thyme. I had some leftover roast chicken and I think that really improved the flavor over poached chicken breast. It also made the recipe quicker. I used the Pillsbury Grands biscuits and I think they are too thick. They were very brown on top, but not done on the bottom. To respond to a previous rev"”
