Reviewed Creamy Shrimp Bisque

"WOW!! This was awesome! So let me just say I read ALL the reviews others gave this before I started. I could not find fish stock or seafood stock so I used the shells of the shrimp and one shrimp bouillon cube. P.S.I used frozen shrimp and just thawed them and then cut them up as the recipe says. I also took people's advice, I added 2 red potatoes cut up. I cooked them and added them when she says add the stock(remember cook them ahead of time) at this time I also added a can of kernel corn. I used a whole yellow onion to sautee with yhe celery and garlic, and I used the green onion at the end and topped the whole dish with it. One more thing it definetly needs salt and pepper at the table. I hope all that try this enjoy it as much as my family did! Thank You Paula!

Reviewed Crispy-Skinned Chicken a l'Orange

"I read the other reviews and changed a couple things. For the glaze I used Apricot preserves, honey, minced garlic, sesame oil, a dried thai chili, soy sauce. Then I cooked the chicke like she said glazing it mid way through cooking. It turned out juicy and tasty. I thought this was not one note as the other reviews mentioned. Definetly going to cook again!

"I thought this recpe was good. Good seasonings and ingredients. The only thing is I would add an onion and mushrooms and cook for 2 1/2 hours and check the veggies and cook to how you like it from that point.

About Me

I am 26 and was in a serious car accident and was unable to eat for 10 months. Now that I can eat again, I am pretty much obssesed with food and am a lot more daring when trying things. I watched Food Network 24/7 when I was in the hospital for a year and I hope any review I give will inspire others to try a dish!
