My Activity

Reviewed Perfect Roast Chicken

"Before finding this recipe, I usually just rubbed my chicken with salt and pepper and brushed with melted butter every 30 minutes. However, this recipe brings it to a whole new level! The chicken is juicy and flavorful and my fiance loved it. The garlic, thyme and lemon really do go well together. I added celery and russet potatoes instead of fenn"

Reviewed Yeast Free Bread

"I almost wish I did not find this recipe. I bake a loaf AT LEAST once a week. I am a lover of bread and this recipe is the easiest. I use AP flour and it works fine. I use almond milk for my liquid and canola oil for my fat. I also use only 2 t of baking powder. The first time, the taste was extremely overpowering, but since reducing it is amazing...."

Reviewed Molten Lava Cakes

"I LOVE ALL of Paula's recipes, but this was not one of them. I baked them for only 10 minutes because I wanted them to be as gooey as possible, but when I took them out, and cut it in half, there was hardly any lava at all! Additionally, the cake part was too bitter and the texture was very off-putting. It was spongy and dry at the same time. The "

Reviewed The Best Bread Pudding

"I just made this bread pudding. Per other reviewers, I cut out the sugar by A LOT. I only used 1/2 cup instead of the 2 cups. I also used 5 cups instead of 3 cups of bread. I used almond milk instead of regular milk for a healthier alternative. I sprinkled about 1 tsp of cinnamon on top. I added apples and raisins. I omitted the "sauce" altogether"

Reviewed Coconut Cupcakes

"I made these cupcakes twice now. The first time, the almond extract was too overpowering. My fiance said it made the whole cupcake taste fake even though I used high quality pure almond extract. The second time, I used only 1/2 tsp almond extract and 2 T coconut milk. I think it gave it a more coconut flavor. I was also able to make 30 cupcakes. O"

Reviewed Carrot and Pineapple Cake

"So I usually love Ina's recipes, especially her lemon cake (that's my fiance's favorite cake of all time. He also loves carrot cake, but after trying countless carrot cake recipes on food network, I eventually gave up. Today is his birthday so I thought I would try Ina's and once again, I am disappointed. I followed the recipe exactly. I popped it"
