Reviewed Meatloaf with Tomato Gravy

my husband loves meatloaf, i hate it, until i fixed this recipe!! wow incredible. the only thing i would change is cut back to 1 tsp of dried oregano in the meat mixture, two was a little over powering, especially since you add another in the gravy. definatly follow the gravy steps to a t, it does come out flavorful. now i can't wait to eat meatloaf!

great recipe,8 onions are definatly way to much, use 4. take the time to cook them low and slow! instead of white wine i used 1/4cup of sherry, which added much more depth to the broth.i also found that i needed more kosher salt to flavor to our taste.best recipe i've tried so far

Reviewed Shrimp Salad Sandwich

Dec 9, 2010 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

this is a basic recipe, needed much more seasonings. i added fresh dill and fresh chives, also chopped green onions and a little bit of horseradish. definatly make ahead and let the seasonings marry. i did chop the shrimp by hand for better texture. it turned out great! and even better the next day i served the leftovers on crakers.
