"I made only a few changes- I threw a little cayenne and paprika in with the trinity after the roux, and used alligator sausage instead of pork. Added file to the bowls before serving with hot buttered french bread and a cold beer. As a born and raised "coastie" living right near Louisiana, I have had many gumbos...but this will be added to my fav""
