Wonderful recipe. Took it to a labor day bbq and got rave reviews! If you cook the cornstarch mixture until it becomes gel like you shouldn't have any problems with it being too runny. It set up perfectly after the baking time. I allowed it to fully cool before it was sliced. Added a little vanilla to the meringue and it was yummy!""

After reading a few of the reviews below, I was hesitant to try this recipe. I decided to give it a whirl and absolutely loved it! The recipe is exactly like the basil chicken at our favorite Thai place. My picky children even loved it! When my "meat and potato" kids devour a dish like this, I know its a winner!

Hands down the best sandwich ever! This is our weekend favorite. Made it for brunch and our friends were speechless! I leave the yolks runny. Gives it some extra gooo when you cut the sandwich in half. When you add the maple sausage shown in this episode, you have a no fail, hearty, amazing breakfast! "
