Reviewed Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Love the taste, not too keen on the consistency of the batter. When I put the cooled cookies into the cookie jar, they crumble; not sure what I am doing wrong. I have baked them longer which made it somewhat better but still an issue. I will have to keep tweaking the recipe, because they are very good."

I made the cranberry sauce for my husband and child, since I typically do not eat it. I tried it just to see what all of the fuss was about, and it was excellent. Of course my husband and 2-year-old loved it! Thanks so much Aaron for sharing such a simple but delicious recipe!"

I was having a serious chocolate craving and did not want to take the time to make cookies or a cake. I remembered this recipe had chocolate, so I cued up the video and made it while watching it. Turned out great. Didn't wait for the chocolate to harden. Thanks for sharing!!"

I really like Ree's recipes. She uses the same types of seasonings that I used, nothing so fancy that I have to go to a specialty store or only use for one recipe. This recipe tasted better the second day. I combined it with the Alton Brown recipe and watched his video. I used 3 cups of milk and added 1 cup of chicken broth to make the gravy. In t"

Reviewed My Big, Fat Chocolate Chip Cookies

Aug 9, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

After reading lots of reviews about the cookie having a cake-like texture, I decided instead of forming the dough into cookie balls, I would just spread the batter out on the parchment paper as I would a sheetcake. After 12 minutes in a 350 degree oven, it looked like a big blob LOL, so I adjusted the oven temperature to 375 degrees and cooked for"

Excellent taste; tedious to make! My family absolutely loved this recipe. I will definitely make again, but will dread the dipping in the sauce part because it is messy. Thanks for sharing!"

Reviewed Caramel Apple Cheesecake

Jul 15, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

This recipe was awesome! I did, however, combine this recipe with Paula's other cheesecake recipe (Cousin Johnnie's Caramel Apple Cheesecake). The other recipe sounded like too much work, so I just used the filling portion of that recipe and used this recipe for everything else. The caramel/apple mixture that is placed into the crust carmalizes du"

I thought the rice was bland, not sure why. I will definitely make again and try to modify it. The presentation was wonderful!"

Extremely easy to make. I found the ice cream to be very sweet, and that is odd for me to say because I am a sweetaholic! I also thought the consistency was a little thick. My kids loved it. My husband and I liked it. Will try to modify it when I make it again. "

First, I would like to thank Ms. Paula and Michelle for sharing this recipe. My family and I really enjoyed the rolls. I took advice from other reviewers and baked as individual rolls within a muffin pan. Since I used a convection oven, I set the temperature to 325 and only allowed the bread to cook for 15-20 minutes. When I saw the sugary mixtur...

I thought the concept was wonderful. I will have to tweak the recipe because it did end up just a tad bit soggy, but it was bearable. I will look at the video again, because someone stated she mentioned baking at 375 instead of 350. I think that will help. I also covered with foil for the first 30 minutes then removed the foil for the last 25 minu"
