I used a premade chocolate cookie pie crust and 2 cups of half and half instead of milk. I also put 1/2 of a banana into a food processor with the half and half and blended that. This recipe was just OK, not 5 stars, and I even left out the hotdogs. Luckily, I didn't add salt in the beginning because I was concerned it would be too salty. Slowly adding salt during the cook was a good idea for this one.""

I love stuffed grape leaves, and collards are a great substitute for them. Ground chicken, or turkey or beef could also be used for this dish. As some have suggested, rice could also be incorporated as well. Also, marinara sauce could be used instead of chicken stock. A good recipe to experiment with and include your favorite cut of meat.

This is a good crouton, and if you want to try something different try using unsalted butter instead of olive oil. Also, I usually use garlic powder and sometimes parm cheese instead of red pepper.
