it came out tough for me. i attribute this to the shortening. i substituted the the shortening with vegetable oil the second time around and it came out much better. so moist! had to use a little more than a cup of vegetable oil (about a 1 1/4 cups). also changed the frosting to a home cream cheese frosting and it really kicked it off. i gave it 2...
