My Activity

Reviewed The Ultimate Beef Stew

"I made this last night for my family and it was great. I couldn't find any pearl onions, frozen or fresh, so used a large white onion. We also omitted the mushrooms because I am not a big fan. This is the best beef stew I have had.

Reviewed Good Eats Roast Turkey

"Ok So i was nervous about the whole brining process but this turned out to be easier than I thought. I used a 9 pound whole turkey breast and it was wonderful! I have never had a turkey so moist and so tasty. This is how all turkey should taste. I followed the recipe exactly with one exception. Since we weren't cooking a whole turkey, I used an oven bag to brine the turkey in. This made the whole process a lot easier. Just put the turkey and brine in the bag in a bowl, tie the bag up, and place in the fridge! Awesome Alton has done it again!

Reviewed Pecan Pie

"This pie is awesome! Like another reviewer, we used whisky since we had no bourbon. It tastes wonderful. I also didn't make the crust. I used a frozen deep dish pie crust. It came out wonderful and flakey. I love this pie and will be making this year after year.
