I do like this recipe. My advice for those who did not like the sweetness and had issues with a soggy cake is to substitute the cake with a dark chocolate brownie. Use marshmallow fluff and pecans and melt semi-sweet chips on top in a warm oven to finish it off. This reduces the sweetness and the "cake" layer will not get soggy."
