I grew up on a farm in southern Ohio. Both my parents were Pennsylvania Dutch families. Can they cook! When I moved to Texas, I married a wonderful man who loved to grill and smoke foods. Then, adding to my wonderful collection of recipes came along Food Network. There, I learned to use fresh herbs, which transported my creations to a new level. I'm so at home in the kitchen, that I love to create new recipes (thankfully, my husband is a lover of new ideas).
