Reviewed Lemon Fusilli with Arugula

"I love Ina and most of her recipes are 5 star rated by me, but this one is not one of her best. There is an enormous amount of heavy cream in it, but the cream doesn't really add much except A LOT of calories. I'm no health nut, but I'd rather save those calories for one of her delicious desserts where you can really appreciate the richness of t""

Reviewed Sour Cream Coffee Cake

"Wonderful coffee cake. Came out perfectly and I followed the recipe exactly. You can make this in a bundt pan, just invert the cake onto a platter carefully, then invert again onto another platter to make right side up with the crumb topping on top. Even better the second day. ""

Reviewed Carrot and Pineapple Cake

"Best carrot cake recipe I've ever made. The pineapple is a wonderful addition to the traditional flavors. Do not hesitate to make this. ""

Reviewed Summer Pudding with Rum Whipped Cream

"Waited a long time to make this recipe, but I wish I hadn't: It's amazing! No trouble getting it out of the dish, and the rum whipped cream is a great addition. Reviewed Warm French Lentils

"Really flavorful and delicious accompaniment to the panko crusted salmon in this episode. As with many of Ina's recipes, you can easily reduce the salt indicated by half without sacrificing flavor. I made it exactly according to the recipe and thought it was balanced and delicious. ""

Reviewed Yogurt Sorbet

"Delicious. I added the scrapings of a vanilla bean and it is out of this world. Curious to try it with greek yogurt...possibilities are endless. Great recipe.""

Reviewed Mocha Chocolate Icebox Cake

"Absolutely fantastic recipe for a super impressive dessert that takes no time at all. While finding the cookies and the espresso powder might take a little time, it is well worth it because the actual cake making process takes only a few minutes. Made this for dessert after the Super Bowl and everyone loved it. Also, you can make this in a 9" spring form pan and still get 5 layers, there just won't be any leftover cookies.
