Reviewed Buttermilk Cheddar Biscuits

"I didn't really care for these...I found them to be dry...not buttery and moist as described by another reviewer. In all fairness...I did substitute the buttermilk with a product called 'Cultured Buttermilk Blend'...which claims it can be used in any recipe that calls for liquid buttermilk. Has anyone used this product? I just hate to buy a quart of buttermilk when a recipe calls for a small amount of it. I will try again with regular buttermilk. As for the flavor I found them a bit bland so I'll add some additional herbs etc. I didn't find them salty as some reviewers did...just be careful which type of salt you are using. She calls for kosher salt in the mix and sea salt to sprinkle on the top.
