Reviewed Sweet and Hot Pepper Chicken, Asian-Style
"OMG....this was flippin awesome! I didn't have chili garlic stuff, so I just used some chili powder. I also didn't have dried chillies, so I just used two jalepenos (instead of one) and I'm not a big ginger fan (other than the blonde from gilligan's island) so I deleted that stuff too. Other than that, it was a fantastic recipe that I've made tw"

"I didn't know what allspice "berry" was, so I just used allspice (which you can buy at any grocery store. Plus, I just used ground pepper rather than 5 peppercorns. I also added a bit more sugar and apple cider vinegar. Put it in there for 2.5 hours and all my guests thought I was a cooking genius! It truly was delicious. I sliced up the meat"

"I loved it! Yes, only me...but I added flour to thicken the sauce and actually butterflied the chicken. I used a bit more wine and stock for more sauce and added half an onion for flaor, but everything else was done as suggested. Great recipe G. As always, spot on. Oh, and easy to make too. Do it and enjoy!!!"

Reviewed Peppercorn Chicken with Lemon Spinach
"I fixed this for my girl-friend who is a nationally renowned personal trainer. We both loved it! The sauce was a bit too runny, so I should have put a small tablespoon of flour to thicken it up, but that's just my personal taste. The Spinach was delicious and I'm NOT a big cooked spinach guy...this changed my taste! Great job guys....so health""
About Me
I'm a 41 year old single dad from Colorado Springs whose x-wife was a phenominal cook. Now that I'm divorced, I must compete with my wife when it comes to cooking....the kids are now comparing meals!!! Aahhh....the pressure of it all! All for the children, eh? :) However, I've learned the joy of cooking and what most men miss out on because they relied on their wives for every meal. I'm branching out, so pour it on! I am a sauce freak...love sauces that go with chicken, shrimp or salmon. I've learned how to make them, but I dare not venture out on my own. :) For those culinary experts out there, bring it on as I am enjoying this new found freedom.
