Reviewed Coconut Flan
"AWESOME!! This was the first flan I've ever made and it turned out SO amazingly good.
I followed the directions to a T (except that I didn't put coconut flakes IN the flan, 'cause I like it silky smooth. And silky smooth it was. Served it in wedges with a dollop of whipped cream and toasted flakes on top.. very impressive.
Note: when putting the water bath together, I find it much easier to put the water in after you've already set the tray in the oven, makes it so that you don't slosh as much.
