A truly DECADENT dish..and if I love the truffle butter , try Inas Roast Turkey with white truffle butter...OUTSTANDING. Yes, the butter is expensive and can be hard to find, but worth it for a special dish.

THE ENTIRE MEAL WAS A 5 STAR MEAL. I USUALLY MAKE MY POTATOES THIS WAY. I KEEP THEM WARM BY SPOONING SOME OF THE HOT MILK/CREAM MISTURE OVER THE POTATOES AND COVERING...THEN MIX IT IN WHEN READY TO SERVE. LEARNED THIS FROM TYLER'S "LEMON SMASHED POTATO" RECIPE IN WHICH HE COOKS THE POTATOES IN MILK. LOVE THIS SHOW!

EXCELLENT AND HEARTY. SUGGEST CUBING MEATS AND SLICING VEGIES DAY BEFORE. ASK THE BUTCHER TO SLICE THE BUTT INTO 1 -2 INCH SLICES. WHAT TOOK THE LONGEST WAS BROWNING THE MEATS. AFTER GETTING EVERYTHING (EXCEPT BEANS) IN THE DUTCH OVEN, I BAKED IT (COVERED) AT 350 FOR TWO HOURS.
I CHECKED IT AT 1 1/2 HOURS AND THE MEATS WERE TENDER, SO...
