My Activity
Reviewed Chorizo-Potato Tacos
"Where has this recipe been all my life? My family loves, loves, loves it when I make this. (They do prefer flour tortillas to the corn.) The addition of yellow squash is fabulous. What a great way to add another vegetable to dinner. "
Reviewed 4-Step Chicken Marengo
"This is my go-to recipe when I have little time to prepare a meal. I've used pork chops when I haven't had chicken, and it is equally delicious. I love to serve this over orzo pasta. Yum, yum!"
Reviewed Chocolate Sponge Puddings
"I've made this recipe twice and both times the sponge cakes did not rise like they appear in the picture. The first time the were absolutely flat. The second time they were fluffier, but still no where close to peeking over the side of the ramekins. Regardless of the state of fluff, they were delicious. I really enjoyed the topping of sourcream and brown sugar. "
Reviewed Corned Beef and Cabbage
"I don't drink beer, and I have never cooked with it before--I wasn't even sure what kind of beer to use. I decided to go ahead and try this recipe. (I ended up using Guinness Extra Stout.) After cooking for a couple of hours, I tasted the broth and found it to be very bitter, so I added about a 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar. The end result was delicious. Truly the best corned beef I've ever had. I gave the recipe four stars because I had to tweek the ingredients."
