A slurry is when you take a little bit of the juice in the dish while it's still hot and mix it with a table spoon or two of starch and put it back in the dish. The "slurry" with thicken up the juices around the chicken. HTH-

OMG...I just made this and put it into the crock pot. I took a bite without it being cooked at all and this is one the better things I've had in a very long time....delish! I cut back to one lb of 4% Laura's Lean beef and kept everything else the same. I have a large crock pot and it is over 3/4 full. It's a lot of food but, delicious!!!...
