"These were good, but the bake time seems to be off. I didn't even bake them the full 30 minutes and they were over done. I agree with some of the other reviews that say they need more butter and I don't know if buttermilk is a crucial element, but I could really taste the "sourness" of it and it did not appeal to me at all. "

"OUTSTANDING. This turned out perfectly and I followed his recipe step by step with the exception of the addition of some flax seeds. If there is one suggestion I'd make it is to use a larger pan than called for. I actually used a 10x15 and it turned out pretty thick, but still perfect. I don't think mine needed to bake as long either. Love Jef""
