This was wonderful. Followed it to a T except I had a quarter of a red pepper that I did not want to waste so I added it. This had my husband going back for seconds. I agree about the gravy. If using water double the roux. Will be making this again for sure. Excellent....

I loved it. I did use half and half instead of heavy cream because that's what I had on hand also substituted a couple of sprigs of fresh tyme instead of saffron again that's what I had. It was very very good. I've made it twice this week."

OMG this was fabulous. I followed the direction exactly and would not change a thing. This is my first time making pulled pork but it won't be the last. I did thicken the sauce a little but did not need BBQ sauce. The family is still talking about how good it was. A real keeper."
