My Activity
Reviewed Sausage Brioche Dressing
"I have made tons of stuffing/dressing in my life. This was pronounced the best ever in my household. I made it because i wanted to do something outside of the bird and also something without things my son doesn't like. Claire's 5 ingredients were all things he eats, plus I did add onions just because. I bought the brioche at Whole Foods. Really, if you haven't made this dressing with the brioche, you don't know what you're missing. It absolutely made the dish for us.
Reviewed Maple Roasted Sweet Potatoes
"Like cocobeanie, I also used sugar-free syrup instead of the Grade B maple syrup. I'd actually bought the maple syrup but it got 'lost" in my pantry. I suspect the sugar-free syrup was probably a bit sweeter than intended but I loved the dish exactly as it turned out. I used a splenda-based syrup and I think I'll probably always make it this way since it cuts back the calories and tasted great.
Reviewed Twice Baked Sweet Potatoes
"These were great; even my pickiest eater enjoyed them.
Reviewed Anise and Pear Bubbly
"I made this exactly as in the recipe. Absolutely loved it. The liquor is price, but is just lovely with the pear juice and prosecco. I expect it would be fine without the star anise, but for Thanksgiving it gave the cocktail a spicey autumn flavor which made it perfect for Thanksgiving. I wish I'd doubled the recipe as I could have sipped it all night.
Reviewed Peas with Shallots and Pancetta
"Like some others, I made it with bacon instead of pancetta. This was a very tasty and simple way to dress up frozen peas. My family loved it on Thanksgiving.
Reviewed Pumpkin Cupcakes
"I made these cupcakes for Thanksgiving. I went with a chocolate frosting instead of the glaze though as I thought it would please my picky eater more. They were a huge hit. Moist and delicious and super easy.
