"Anne totally missed the mark on this recipe. I followed it exactly as well and it did not thicken. It tastes good, but is not a preserve, more of a topping to use over ice cream. I would not recommend this recipe to anyone! "

Reviewed Snap Pea and Cucumber Salad

"This salad is fresh and light. I did make some changes to the dressing, it was too lemony and tart so I added 1 tbls. of honey to it and 1 tsp of dijon mustard it lighted it up. I also let it chill for 1 hour before serving. I'll make again with the changes. Great for summer."

Reviewed Braised Short Ribs

"Best recipe ever! I've tried several different variations of beef shortribs, this one is the best. Very different techniques pureering vegetables then browning, but gives it great flavor and consistency. It makes alot of sauce, I then used over pasta, very delicious. This will be my "go to" recipe for shortribs."

"I made this as a side dish along with grilled steaks. It was perfect I served it as my potato, vegetable and bread all in one. Then served just a side salald. Everyone LOVED it. A nice change from potatoes. It easily serves 10 people."

"This is one of my favorites. It is so good! Everyone wants the recipe when they eat it. I did make some revisions..I used crumbled blue cheese instead of feta and I put in some Italian seasoning for a little more flavor. I will mke this again."

Favorite Foods

I love seafood and fish dishes. Every year I make a seafood boil. We cook it outside in a big turkey pot and add crab, scallops, crawfish and shrimp along with spicy sausage and vegetables. It is a family favorite.
