"Made this for the first time using the cooked directions. Not sure why some are commenting that it was bland but do make sure you use freshly grated nutmeg. I also added a pinch of ground ginger and a tsp of vanilla extract. I found the eggnog very rich and thick. I decided to add the bourbon to each glass so I could tailor it for each person.
I think the next time I make it I may use 2% or even skim milk.
