This could be one of my new favorites things! I couldn't find yellow split peas, so I used green and you definitely should go through the effort of using fresh coconut. This not only drew me in with the smells but the colors were fresh and appetizing!"

This is really great bread. I made this from the pumpkins that we carved. After we scraped out the seeds, I scraped down the insides with a scrapper tool to make the pumpkin easier to carve and the pumpkin shredded as I scraped. This is good but even after cutting back on the sugar it was a little too sweet for me. I also cut back on the applesauce but didn't like the texture it gave the pie. It seemed almost store bought and not in a good way. It is still good but I don't think I'll make this again. I would like something more traditional.

This is amazing! I left out the orange zest and juice only because I didn't want any orange this time around. I kept the lemon zest and juice and it came out perfect! I don't think I can go back to pre-made applesauce!
