My Activity

Reviewed Indian Summer Stew: Butternut Squash, Coconut, and Lentil Stew

"This could be one of my new favorites things! I couldn't find yellow split peas, so I used green and you definitely should go through the effort of using fresh coconut. This not only drew me in with the smells but the colors were fresh and appetizing!"

Reviewed Lebanese Meat-Stuffed Pitas (Arayes

Reviewed Pumpkin Bread

"This is really great bread. I made this from the pumpkins that we carved. After we scraped out the seeds, I scraped down the insides with a scrapper tool to make the pumpkin easier to carve and the pumpkin shredded as I scraped. So I was able to get the seeds to toast and the fresh pumpkin before carving. It made for a great night of fun. My only regret is putting the pumpkin seeds in because they ended up being really chewy in the bread and I didn't care for that. But overall the flavor was great!

Reviewed Crunch Top Apple Pie

"This is good but even after cutting back on the sugar it was a little too sweet for me. I also cut back on the applesauce but didn't like the texture it gave the pie. It seemed almost store bought and not in a good way. It is still good but I don't think I'll make this again. I would like something more traditional.
