Reviewed Perfect Salmon Burgers

As seen in the June 2011 FNMag. Love these burgers! Made extra and will freeze for another time (but will bread with the crumbs just before frying) They do not re-heat well, so freezing the extra is the way to go. We just fix with lettuce and tomato and they are perfect! I may try adding dill like the previous reviewer suggested. Yummmm!"

Cake tasted great! I had the same problem as the other posters, I could not get my sugar to melt smoothly or to turn that nice dark color. It got very dried out so I kept adding water by the tablespoonful. After 30 minutes I said "the heck with it" and just finished making the cake. It's really tasty but it was frustrating to not have it turn"

I agree with most reviewers, way too much liquid for an 8" cake. I would double the cake next time. We all decided it didn't need the mango either (or the whipped cream, it's so sweet on its own) I may try the Alton recipe everyone is talking about."
