"These were the first biscuits I have ever made that turned out fluffy, soft, and just a hint of crunch on the bottom. I was in a pinch & used palm sugar vs white & had to sub coconut oil for the butter as I was out. I also have never had such an easy time rolling out dough. We gobbled them up with honey butter & the kids, jam. Delish!

"Made this the other night and my spouse, which is NOT a turkey eater, said he would want this again! It was surprisingly moist. I use a 85/15 blend which probably influenced things...I also added a very THIN layer of ketchup with dried mustard atop to help it resemble beef meatloaf and it was a hit. "I really enjoyed this meal. It was fairly easy and quick to prepare and the ingredients are readily available. It was my first time using fennel which indeed has a licorice flavor/smell to it...but when roasted with the other vegetables, was not overwhelming. I would certainly make this again!"
