Reviewed Almost-Famous Broccoli-Cheddar Soup

Apr 18, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Ok I made this last night for my mother and I and wow this was phenomenal. I used 2 crowns of broccoli and New York Extra Sharp White Cheddar with mild yellow and what a great combo. It was super easy to make...didn't have to do much. I was able to walk away while it simmered. My grocery store didn't have sourdough boules, but I was able to find I"

Reviewed Primavera With Prosciutto, Asparagus and Carrots

Apr 9, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

OK I was a little hesitant when I saw asparagus because the last time I had it it was disgusting. When I was at the store I almost substituted with broccoli spears but went ahead with asparagus. Man was this delicious. My mom absolutely loved this as well and we both agreed that this would be a fantastic summer meal because its not heavy at all!!!"

Ok these fish tacos were not just phenomenal....but they were INSANELY FANTASTIC. My mom and I had parties going on in our mouths. I did double the fish since my mom loves fish tacos. I also added a bit of Cajun seasoning and cayenne pepper to the marinade.

What I did differently to the salsa is as follows (WHICH TOTALLY ROCKED!!):

Feb 20, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Overall this recipe was really good...however I had to keep scooping out the grease from the pan...thank goodness I did this before adding the seasoning and broth. I was expecting some heat in this recipe coming from Sunny. I had to add some Franks red hot, chili powder and siracha to the meat mixture to get it to where I am used to for enchiladas"

Reviewed Crispy Chicken Breasts Stuffed with Mushrooms and Goat Cheese

Jan 28, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Ok this recipe was beyond amazing and better than any stuffed chicken I have ever had. The flavors were phenomenal. I have never had chicken livers and they were actually gross...a little bloody when chopping but good. My boyfriend was drooling while he was eating!! My brother loved it too and the pan gravy was just the icing on the cake!!!"

Reviewed PW's Prime Rib with Rosemary Salt Crust

Dec 30, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This was delicious. I did what some views suggested by reducing the salt to 1/4 cup but even that was a tad much. I think next time i will do even less. The juices were awesome and the stuff that was stuck to the bottom of the pan i deglazed with whiskey and made a sauce from the drippings. Everyone said to make this again it was so good and moist"

Reviewed Brussels Sprouts with Balsamic and Cranberries

Dec 30, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I also was a bit disappointed. I was so happy to try these because I have only had brussells sprouts once and i actually liked them because they were cooked correctly. I roasted just like it said and I tried them after they were roasted and i loved them...it was the glaze that i did not like and my family was on the fence with them. They said it w"

Nov 29, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This dish was good but they need to tell you how much Grand Marnier to put in. My boyfriend picked up 4 of those mini ones to equal up to 1 cup. 1 mini bottle was not enough so he added more. They were ok but I agree with bmyers146 about too much of the liqueur flavor. The orange zest on top was also just nasty! I had to force myself to finish. Al"

Nov 29, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

These were good. I too only used 1 pack of chopped spinach and it was plenty. My grocery store didn't have steat tomatoes because they are not in season so I just used 4 hot house tomatoes. The only thing I did not care for was the blue cheese on top-it was was too strong and my boyfriend thought so too. We both think that we'll try a medium sharp"

I made them for my 4 year anniversary and holy crap were these bangin'. I added more horseradish than called for (about 2 tbsp in total) and more sour cream because they were a little dry. I also added salt to them when they were done and it just brought everything together. I loved these and I used microwave bacon because I forgot to thaw out the"

This steak was fabulous but the cooking time was off for Medium-rare. I cooked it about 16 or so minutes in total at 375* just to get it medium rare in the center. However the flavors were perfect and the steak was just juicy. I used the rib eye. The squeeze of the lemon wedges on top just made the Rosemary POP! Fantastic! I also did not drizzle o"
