"Made this tonight as a test run for Thanksgiving...not sure what I did wrong but it didn't turn out well. And I love Alton's recipes!!
I made the roux, tempered the egg and all looked smooth and creamy before baking, but after baking it separated and was curdled. With all these good reviews, I must have missed something. The only thing I omitted"
