Reviewed Herbal Iced Tea

"I am watching my weight, so I could not use all the carbs from 4 cups of apple juice. So, I did 4 cups water, with 1 cup apple juice, 5 Splenda packets, and I added 3 drops of peppermint extract.

When served over ice, the drink has a nice, light flavor. No, I am not "raving" over it, but I find I get tired of drinking just water. I want flavor which this has. Might I prefer it with all 4 cups of apple juice? I'm sure, but I like what I'm drinking.

When it gets hot (and in Los Angeles, we've had some 90 degree days in January 2011 already, it will be just perfect.

Reviewed Bruschetta with Mediterranean Tomato Topping

"Although I did not add the anchovies, I made this dish and LOVE it. I did add a teaspoon of balsamic vinegar, as it needed a little more sweetness, but wow, oh wow, is this good. Do be sure to add the parmesan cheese, as it just perfects this dish.

Oh, I am craving some right now!
