Reviewed Chicken with 40 Cloves of Garlic

Dec 12, 2013 on FoodNetwork.com

So darn good! Have made it on 3 separate occasions. I tried it with the white one, another time vermouth, & another sherry. I used what I had on hand. I did add more liquid because I was afraid it would burn on the bottom. I also added chicken broth (1/4c) to the alcohol. The garlic is very mushy and yummy just spread on a crusty bread!...

Very good! My 10 year old son ate 2 sandwiches as did my husband. I used store bought Giardiniera since I'm the only one who likes it. My picky daughter liked the sandwich as well. The au jus was very good and I had extra so I used it in my beef stew that I'm making today. "

Very good. I didn't have the ricotta cheese so I added an extra egg. Flavor is very good. I only used them in spaghetti but froze the rest of the meatballs. I used a 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt based on other reviews. I thought that was plenty. "

Yummy! Made it today and everyone loved it! Followed recipe except used kosher salt. Didn't have the salt called for. Almost put in the flour mix into the butter before the eggs but caught myself. Be careful at that part of the recipe. Will make this again!""

Yummy! My friend and I enjoyed it. I didn't have cinnamon schnapps so I just added a cinnamon stick in our glasses instead of the apples. I'll try it heated next time as other reviewers did. Thanks Aaron!""

Loved the frosting. I have a thing about frosting and this one is really good. Enough to frost a 2-layer 8" cake. I added extra cream and added about 1/2 teaspoons of instant coffee to the cream. I heated it up a bit so coffee crystals would melt and cream was a hint warm. Very good recipe. Enjoy."

Made it this afternoon. It was great. My husband loved it. My son thought it was a bit too spicy for him even thou I used 1/2 the heat. I did add dried cranberries for color. I did not use the onion for personal preference. I will make again because it was great with the pulled pork we had. Thanks Neelys!"

Very good! My husband said they were "very good." The only thing I did that I wouldn't do again (my mistake) is to use a mixer for the filling. It got a crust on it when it baked & doesn't look very yellow. It is very good none-the-less. I'm going to ice them (powdered sugar, lemon juice, & a bit of cream cheese to hide my flaw and add a rasp"

Didn't read the reviews first like I usually do so I didn't do yeast with the milk to soften. I did as recipe called and the rolls came out good. My friend had some and she loved them. My husband said they were good. They were a bit more dense. Will make them again!"

I don't know if anyone else did this but I used a package of mashed potato mix (instant kind). I had plenty of the mix and didn't want it to go to waste. I didn't use the green onion 'cause I didn't know if my guests liked it. I used 1/2 lb of shrimp but chopped it up and sauteed it with garlic. I mixed everything in the pot from the potatoes...

Yummy!! Made this tonight. I used less onion for personal preference. It was very good and easy. Very moist. I put mine in 5 mini-loaf pans to speed up baking time. They were done about 20 minutes later. I used parsley for the thyme because I didn't have any on hand. I also shredded carrots and put them in with the onions to soften a bit....

Very good! I didn't use a whole stick of butter. Way too much. Used 3 tablespoons. Also used half graham crackers and half gingersnap cookies. Just pulsed in food processor. Excellent. This was wonderful & very easy. I used the beef broth. I didn't have mushrooms so I just added a bit extra carrots. My whole family loved it. The only problem was the yield. It was enough for 1 serving for 5pp. My 8 yr. old son was a pig and had a second bowl. Will double the recipe since I have an extra large crock pot!
