“I was curious about the baking soda vs baking powder so I decided to make it both ways. The baking soda cake turned out higher and more even. The baking powder cake rose in the middle but not as high on the sides. I baked them both at 350 for 42 minutes.
My conclusion...... baking soda is the better choice for this cake. ”
