"I agree a previous poster that the pudding consistency was off. I have been making pudding from scratch for 20 years, so I know what it should be like. I made my own pudding recipe instead of hers. I've made caramel sauce for about 10 years with no trouble, but this recipe did not work. A thick crust of sugar crystals formed over the top while it was cooking and before it had even caramelized. I've never had anything like that happen before. So, I ended up using my own tried and true caramel sauce recipe. Bottom line, this is a great dessert idea, but the recipes are flawed. The thing that turned out great as written was the crust. It was a good pie made with recipes that work.

Reviewed S'mores Cheesecake Bars

"I really had high hopes for these bars since my family and I love s'mores. They were easy to make & the filling tasted good, too. However, none of that matters when the crust is a disaster! There needs to be more butter to hold the crust together. The texture was very sandy and did not hold together well at all. They went in the garbage.
