Reviewed Chicken Sausage Rigatoni in a Spicy Vodka Sauce
"Exceeded expectations!I bought precooked jalapeno chicken sausages and didn't know what to make them with. I came across this recipe and did not use the jalapeno(or raw chicken sausage)it called for but instead quartered and chopped the jalapeno sausages because I figured that would be enough spice. I also added the vodka a couple minutes before the tomato and cream to allow it to cook out the alcohol. I did crush the tomatoes a bit with the spoon but did not want to puree to allow for texture.Next time I will use a 32oz can of tomato and add mushroom,broccoli,shredded carrot,peas and a bit more onion(we love veggies).For people that dont like spice, i think it would be just as good without the jalapeno!GREAT!
