I watched this on tv one time, printed out the recipe and decided to try it. I generally dont eat beef, but Anne was enjoying this so much on tv, I had to try it. OMG. It was very good. I doubled the recipe because we are a family of 6. I ran out of Vegetable stock, so I used water. (8 C stock, 4 C water) It had very good flavor. By far, the absolute best chili verde ever! Delicious, light, and easy to make! I may even substitute chicken breast next time. I love the taste so much, I plan on using this base for my pork tamales tomorrow morning. I am sure they will be a hit! Absolutely delicious!
