Reviewed baked creamed corn with red bell peppers and jalapenos

Jul 7, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

This is soooo good!!! I used a green bell pepper from my garden & sauted it a bit, first. While watching the sodium intake around here, I used unsalted butter, but added almost 2 tsps. of salt to the recipe. After the dish came out of the oven, I made a small slurry of corn starch & water to thicken it up a bit. That probably depends on...

I love this recipe. It's a great alternative to fried chicken. I always cut back on the salt in recipes due to a low sodium diet. I am going to try this with pork chops. This recipe is in her "Foolproof" cookbook that I just purchased. I tried it before I saw her make it on TV. YUM!!!

The dressing would be great on pasta, or a salad. It is soooo good!!! I used russet potatoes instead of Yukon Gold, and they worked out just fine. There is so much flavor in th"

Reviewed Apricot-Yogurt Parfait with California Granola

Mar 23, 2013 in Recipes on Cooking Channel

This granola is fabulous!!! I couldn't find the light-brown muscovado sugar at my grocery store, but light-brown cane sugar worked fine. I made the apricot puree, but I'm not sure there will be any granola left by the time it chills. I had to thin out the apricots with a little more apricot nectar, but it worked out just fine. Oh, I used dark "
