These were very easy to make and cooked quickly. My only reservation was too much coriander flavor. I had coriander pods, so I took out the seeds and freshly ground them. Maybe the ultra fresh spice was too strong compared to ground coriander. Next time, I'll reduce the coriander to 1/2 amount indicated and double the mace. Otherwise the donu"

I just discovered the flat iron cut of beef! It's fantastic just seasoned and grilled - real beefy taste and extremely tender. This recipe is a perfect combination of flavors to really showcase the beefy taste. Very easy, very fast, uses ingredients on hand, and results are delicious!!"

We have a Cuban restaurant nearby and love the flavors of Cuban cooking. This sounded so wonderful!! I cut short the marinate time by a bit and roasted the meat for 5.5 hours, covered. It was NOT fall off the bone tender. Directions were not clear about how to cook: with marinate, w/o marinate, covered, uncovered?? I assumed without marinate"
