"These were very easy to make and cooked quickly. My only reservation was too much coriander flavor. I had coriander pods, so I took out the seeds and freshly ground them. Maybe the ultra fresh spice was too strong compared to ground coriander. Next time, I'll reduce the coriander to 1/2 amount indicated and double the mace. Otherwise the donu"

"We have a Cuban restaurant nearby and love the flavors of Cuban cooking. This sounded so wonderful!! I cut short the marinate time by a bit and roasted the meat for 5.5 hours, covered. It was NOT fall off the bone tender. Directions were not clear about how to cook: with marinate, w/o marinate, covered, uncovered?? I assumed without marinate"

Mother of three grown kids, retired chemist and biochemistry teacher, I have been cooking since I was 11.   My mother's family was filled with great German/Polish cooks and I learned most of my family recipes from watching my mother.  Although elaborate desserts are my favorite item to prepare, I also love any savory recipes made with herbs.  Actually, I adore cooking, reading about cooking and, of course, eating more than anything else!
