Reviewed Bourbon BBQ Chicken with Sixteen Spice Rub

"I am rating the spice rub I used on a chicken I smoked. I did not have access to the special chili powders, so I used regular. Normally not fond of fennel at all, or cinnamon in my savory dishes, but it was still ok. I have enough left over for another dish! I personally think I would leave out the fennel and cinnamon next time, or at least cu"

Reviewed Orzo with Roasted Vegetables

"Definitely 5 star - I normally do some changing to the recipes to suit our tastes, but I make this just the way it is! It is delicious and perfect - very rich, but soooo good! TRY IT!!!"

Reviewed Roasted Potato Salad

"AWESOME! I was concerned about the home made mayo, but no one got sick ;- We all LOVED it. I loved the fact that I didn't need to boil potatoes - they always seem to get over done and I don't like peeling & cutting when they are hot! I used Vidalias, and even roasted some with the potatoes. Make sure you roast to the point of just getting don"

Reviewed Coconut Cream Bread Pudding

"Hmmm... I DID make this recipe, and agree with one of the other ratings that it was not quite sweet enough. There was no sugar in it (compared to Paula's regular bread pudding recipe that had 2 cups in it, which seemed to be too much for me) and I did NOT see sweetened condensed milk in the recipe... Not sure where Chef #1211822 was coming from"

Reviewed The Best Bread Pudding

"This was very good, but the first time I made it following the sugar quantity, it was WAYYYYYY too sweet. With the richness, it was overwhelming - even when putting lots of butter on it before eating it! Next time, I used half the sugar, and added a bit of salt. This really did the trick! I used a whole loaf of fresh bakery deli French Bread. "
