Reviewed Blueberry Scones with Lemon Glaze

Aug 17, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

These scones were flaky, delicious and a breeze to make! I added 1 additional tbs of sugar and used 1/2 cup of blueberries and 1/2 cup of diced strawberries, sprinkled the tops with sugar and skipped the glaze since I was short on time. BERRY-LICIOUS!!! Will make these again and again! Thanks Tyler - ""

I was never a scone fan and found that the ones previously purchased were dry and hard, these are AMAZING! Flavor is perfect, not overpowering and they were light and delicious! Ina, your recipes NEVER disappoint, thanks!

I was never a big scone fan but these are amazing! Not quite as heavy or dry as scones I've purchased in the past. They are fabulous out of the oven with the glaze...now anxious to see how they taste the next day. Ina, your recipes NEVER disappoint!!

Reviewed Ham and Cheese in Puff Pastry

Dec 5, 2010 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

What an easy and tasty dish! I prefer very mild cheeses but stuck with the gruyere and it was fantastic. I look forward to making it with other variations from the other reviews. I did find that the bottom layer of pastry got very soggy so not sure if that was something I did or if that is usual. Suggestions?

This was absolutely fabulous and very easy to make! I too prefer it a bit more chunky so didn't puree it quite as much.
